Visit the Aeolian Islands, an archipelago of 7 islands north of Sicily, famous for their lush vegetation and the typical Mediterranean architecture. The islands are the patrimony of humanity as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000. This excursion is a mini cruise that gives the opportunity to visit two of them on the same day. Departure by bus with a tour leader to the port of Milazzo in the northern coast and proceed by private motorboat to the island of Lipari. Stop at the ground with the opportunity to visit the old town with the archaeological park and the cathedral. Free shopping time in the local shops on the island. Back on board and sail along the "Faraglioni" and the "Horseβs Cave". Continue by boat to Vulcano and stop on the island. Possibility to enjoy the famous black beach and the mud baths (extra ticket). The typical restaurants on the island are available for optional lunch extra. After returning by sea, sailing along the coast viewing the "Rock of the Little Mermaid". Eco-tax to be paid on board the bus not included. Return around 7.30pm.
The conduct of maritime excursions is always subordinated to the decisions of the shipping companies and law enforcement authorities. There will be other groups on board. A penalty will be incurred in case of a no-show. The motorboat is equipped with bar and toilets. It is absolutely forbidden to consume takeaway food and/or drinks on board. Toilets are not accessible near the ports and therefore their use is permitted exclusively during navigation. Smoking is prohibited inside and outside our motor ships (there is an exception at the stern, in the embarkation and disembarkation area, authorized by our on-board staff).
